Geomatics Engineering Exposition

GESS Presents our 25th Geomatics Engineering Exposition hosted at the engineering lounge and engineering atrium on February 2 from 9am-4pm. The Geomatics Exposition showcases the industry while also getting students and companies to connect and interact. It introduces Geomatics to First Year engineering students. The Expo gives both new and current undergrads to discover what the Geomatics industry can offer. For industry members, this is an excellent way to meet students and to discover future talent. This year we have over 30 companies joining us on this amazing day. All attendees will have a chance to win big prizes as well as a unique opportunity to network with leading companies in the geomatics communities!

Trimble Information Session and In-Person Interviews

Students will be given the opportunity to learn more about the company as well as ask any questions. In-Person Interviews are intended for those interested in an internship position in May 2023.

Hexagon Autonomy and Positioning Information Session

Hexagon Autonomy and Positioning will be hosting an Internship Information Session for their internship recruitment for the upcoming May 2023. This session will focus mainly on the job description and what Hexagon does. It will allow students to ask questions and get to know more about the company. This session is intended for students interested in an internship, but all Geomatics Engineering majors are welcome to join. Please fill out the form before November 10, 2022. McElhanney meet the Student Night

McElhanney is hosting a meet the Student Night, open to all 2nd , 3rd , 4th year geomatics students. They will have bowling, food, drinks and an opportunity to meet with various McElhanney Managers looking to hire summer students and new graduates. McElhanney will also be providing taxi slips / Ubers for anyone attending to ensure safe rides home.
When: November 3rd, 2022 – starting at 6:00 pm. Bowling Lanes booked from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
