Geomatics Expo
The Geomatics Exposition showcases the industry while also getting students and companies to connect and interact. It introduces Geomatics to First Year engineering students. The Expo gives both new and current undergrads to discover what the Geomatics industry can offer. For industry members, this is an excellent way to meet students and to discover future talent.
Swiss Trip
The annual Swiss Trip enriches the Geomatics engineering education. How Geomatics is applied internationally, in the past, present, and future, will be learned. The students visit renowned facilities and institutions in Switzerland. They are exposed to the various aspects of what Geomatics engineering is and will also give them the opportunity to cultivate professional relationships with Swiss engineers.
Merch
Not only will our merch allow you to represent Geo, but also our university as most clothing items will now feature the UofC logos as well! Items will be on sale from from the university bookstore. Stay tuned to see when the next launch is! We hope that this collection will help showcase our distinctive department and our school.
Events
GESS aims to enrich students’ lives by hosting events which encourage students to be an active member of the community. These events range from getting exposure to industry to getting help with academics from upper year students to events where students can just wind down and relax.
